Goal For The Day

Hmmm. My goal for the day is to quit beating the heck out of myself because I flaked on a conversation about a side dish to bring for a dinner tomorrow night. I shut down and can't remember... but it is there today running in the background and I'm feeling like I'm a bad person. :O_o:
 
To get through the rest of the day without any tears... its been tears free so far. . :)

Be careful what you wish for Seeking Serenity... I have been almost exclusively dry eyed since my last traumatic break. And I've been struggling with it. That old song lyric from Kansas... "In 25 years I have used in all the tears in my eyes" is very real for me. I can only hope that I am not becoming stone hearted or too damaged.
 
My goal for today is to return to a "normal" shift with some semblance of calm and peace (even though I ain't feeling it at the present moment).
 
Three of my goals today have been achieved.
  1. To have a nice shower.
  2. Attend our weekly staff meeting - where I actually talked sense and was listened to.
  3. Spend some time moderating.
Now for the rest of the afternoon, I would like to.
  1. Walk the dogs
  2. Tidy the lounge and light candles
  3. Relax tonight with H. There is a TV programme on which we both like.
 
Goals done:
1. Cleaned up the living room. I vacuumed, dusted, wiped the windows, wiped down everything with disinfecting wipes then I shampooed the carpet. Pretty funny when I was done shampooing the carpet. The carpet was wet and one of our cats was doing a lot of complaing about his paws getting all wet, but he had to be in the room with me, he insisted.
2. Cleaned up dining room. Same as above.
3. Cleaned the bathroom. Dusted, wiped down everything with disinfecting wipes. Scrubbed the floor.
4. Did laundry. And put in all away.

I also bought two new pairs of shoes! Got 20 dollars off in coupons because I called them to complain about something that was actually my oversight. hehehehe

Tomorrow is clean the bedroom and study. Vacuum, dust, wipe down windows, wipe down everything with disinfecting wipes and shampoo to carpet very thoroughly.

Maybe I'll start today...it's only 3 pm.
 
Goals met:

1. Excercise
2. Bible study
3. a load of laundry
4. nap
5. Went to Supersupplements for a new bottle of magnesium.

Still to do:

1. Eat dinner
2. Take daughter to Tae Kwon Do class.
3. sleep
