Goal For The Day

1. do some paperwork, although I keep on getting dizzy and having concentration problems. IT TOOK ME AT LEAST 3 HOURS TO SEND ONE LETTER.
2. To go for a walk.
3. Play some music.
4. Empty at least one more moving box. ( They have been lying around here for months already)


Hmmm. Still have time. Dissociation madness go away!
 
I did everything that I wanted to get done and more. I have lived in this location for over 5 years and have never went out on Queens Day because it's so busy. Well, I did today. No drinking, just me sober with my boys and I did really well. We also went to feed the animals, we ate dinner, we sat in the backyard for over and hour and played yahtzee. Then to end the day I cooked a big pan of vegetables that I can eat when I get hungry. I did real good. I hope I can hold on to this for a little while, ya know?!
 
I brushed my teeth today. I am on the computer posting today. I will fix a good dinner and I will watch dancing with the stars and vote for Melissa and Maks. I will read before I go to sleep. Today is a lazy day. Tommorow will be a busier day. But for today I have tiny goals.

Shower and drive and get my butt to neck mri.

Gather GP records, Neurol. records and notes for Psych appt. this week.

Contact Neuro-evalator with request for assistance with her recommended follow-up.
 
Being here and reaching out.

Fixing a good dinner.

Taking the trash out later on.

Watch the results of dancing with the stars.

Read before I go to bed.

Having another lazy day. Small goals work well on lazy days.
 
My goal for the day was to go to have a massage. The only thing I was going to get a massage by someone I hadn't seen before.

When I told my counselor that I was no longer going to be going to this one person, she told me that I needed to get a massage by "Nicole" because "her mother was almost as bad as yours". When I tried to schedule a massage with Nicole, I learned that she was on maternity leave, thus I had to have a massage by a different person.

I so enjoyed my massage today, because I have been having problems with sinus congestion, etc.

Anyway, when I went to the counter to schedule another massage in two weeks as I do need it, I was given the date which would have been my mother's birthday, boy, did I react to that. I told her that I would rather not, and scheduled it for the next day.

What I realized through this experience, was how glad I am that I haven't been seeing my counselor, told her I needed a "break" about a month ago and how much her words had an affect on me and honestly I wish she hadn't said them!
 
Slept most of the day, I've got a busy night.

1) Organize coupons and visit the all-night grocery store
2) A few loads of laundry
3) Work on article for friend's website
4) Do some relaxation/mediation type exercises, maybe soak in a bubble bath and see if that helps this darn insomnia.
 
Take a shower and get dressed.
Take a walk with the boys and take them for an ice-cream (none for me).
Fix dinner.
Play yahtzee.
