Got Back Out And Search For Help

I got back on the phone and reached out for help. I reached back out to family and made a promise to keep involved with them, which I have despite episodes that have put me on 'Mental Health House Arrest'. I did have to spend Thanksgiving alone to stop my racing mind and take some space.

I traveled a lot, spent time with the my family as well as traveling with just my dog to mental health conferences. It was great to be able to get away with a carefree feeling.

I feel relieved to be able to finally be on the road I have gone back and forth about, wondering if I would ever find it as well as questioning if I would want to go there sometimes. I had lost several loved ones and this felt like this past year was the decider, I chose MOVE FORWARD so I leapt like it was my last chance.

I didn't spend Christmas in the Hospital this year, I was able to acknowledge everyone's birthday, and the reward is I'm back in touch with me.

Remember that thought, it is great. Life for us is not easy, I am convinced I will recover and you are moving forward as well. On the days when it is hard we have to hang on to this.
