I saw on the ebenefits web site today that they have made a decision. It has to go through a few more stages before I will get an answer. In the past once it get to this stage the answer generally does not take to long. So I guess they will give me a answer pretty soon. I guess...who knows.
In some ways it may be too little to late at any rate. My condition is getting a little worse by the year. Yes for sure if they give me 100% it will be a big deal for me and I hope they do.
I have a meeting with the VA doctors next month and I hope it helps. I do not know what to expect any more. Depression takes the life out of everything, both good news and bad.
I am back on a reduced amount of the same meds trying too balance between the positive effects and the negative side effects. I got some new sleep meds but I wanted to get all the last train wreck of shit that did not work out of my system before trying the new stuff. The last stuff they gave me almost put me in the hospital so I guess I am a little gun shy to begin with.
All I can say for all of us dealing with the VA is don't give up hope. It is slower than shit but they will get it done sooner or later, and don't expect the sooner part in most cases.
