Hello,

A little about myself:

I am retired from the Navy.
I am working on my masters. My masters thesis is on models of PTSD in fiction. So when I stumbled across y'all's thread on the same subject in Chit Chat, I couldn't help but join the discussion. I will probably add some more to that discussion and look into some of your examples.

I have a coup, goals with my research but the key ones are educating the public about what are good examples of various aspects of PTSD. Another is to explore these examples as models that can be used as tools between those with PTSD and their therapists or fellow sufferers and the people in their lives.

I'm not sure what to think shipmate. I'm a navvet and I'm also on active duty. Can say I never knew how many people are affected by or have PTSD vets and non-vets.
