Happy to find this site. I was diagnosed over 5 years ago with Complex PTSD. It took me at least 2 years to even 'hear' I had this due to seeing it as a "military service issue". Even after that I have to say I did not REALLY accept it. ;)
I recently went to a two day training on Trauma and Recovery with Dr. Gabor Mate'. That was very Cathartic just that has provided some relief. I am a deeply spiritual person with a serious prayer life. I have had many breakthroughs as well as ups & downs. Now I have a much better sense of what is really going on. This is an answer to my prayer that God would grant me His perspective. I have a lot to share, a bit at a time. I have learned a lot in my journey so far.
But right now I will encourage my healing process by spending some quality time with my wonderful granddaughter. God's Peace to All on here!:D
