Group Sessions

Hehe. My group has further convinced me it is not the one for me. Last week the effeminate little Italian guy calls me and says there is no group next week. Fine. Last session was pretty dumb.

This week rolls around and I get a message to attend group the next day WTF? They told me it was off...personally.

So I says "Beast, I'm going to let you out your cage....go get em boy, get em!"

Bastard wouldn't do me a favor on Easter Sunday. "Kick"

I've had the experience of being in both a veteran and civilian type of group. The main difference is kind of always the same; military have a what is best for the group mentality, whereas civilians have a what is best for me mentality. There used to be more of the group concern in this country, but that's changed over the years. We are certainly in the total 'me' oriented society.

In the group I'm in now, all vets, everyone listens, talks and gives feedback to people. The other one people interupted, and were basically waiting for you to shut up so they could whine about the fact that they didn't have a BMW, no shit.

It's a crap shoot, you really never know what you're getting into till you give it a try.
