As it happens the county fair is a really really good place to go looking for opportunities for random acts of kindness. I managed four on Thursday! Riding with the "extra" kid, sharing goodies, extra thanks for the people working there. Giving mommies and daddies a bit of a break (nothing like being able to go to the bathroom BY YOURSELF!)
It is also exercise as there is ALOT of walking.
Chock full of happy memories.
I am grateful for really good ride operators (who knew they could be so engaging and fun?)
I am grateful for living in a small community.
I am grateful for really really greasy pizza and funnel cakes!:hungry:
Exercise was walking abdominal exercises and did meditation in the AM.
Five for five on Thurs.
Friday I did meditation in the AM, and walked for the exercise (although I wasn't thinking of that as exercise, I planned to to Abs late, but the day got totally mixed up)
I am grateful for my friend Sylvia.
I am grateful for my H who takes care of repairs to all three rentals on the same day.
I am grateful for the ability to be flexible and roll with unexpected events (mine and his).
I had a lovely time talking at the park with my friend while L played.
Did I manage an act of kindness yesterday? Oh, yeah, agreed to have my day off today instead of yesterday!
It didn't seem like it, but I guess I was five for five both days thanks to walking!
More on The Happiness Advantage later.
