Thanks guys. My youngest daughter has had me on a countdown all week for the 'big day'. It's because I'm getting so old and she's having so much fun pointing it out to me. LOL Snot-head! Her day's coming.

I baked my cake last night and my oldest daughter is coming over tonight for pizza and cake. Her birthday was last weekend but she had to work. So we'll celebrate together tonight.

Yeah Herc...I baked my own cake. That way I got to pick the cake and frosting I wanted. LOL Plus I shared it with my daughter.

We had a good time last night. Pizza, cake and watching the movie 'Up'. It was a really good night. A friend reminded me how truly rich I am to have my family in my life. I got flowers and a talking card that was a crack-up.

I also got a card from my co-workers. And a bag of microwave popcorn (unpopped). It was really sweet of them to remember and do something. I'm not used to that at a work place.

Thanks to all for your kind words here. It's nice to enjoy a birthday for a change rather than dread it as a day that's not in the usual schedule of things. :smile:
