I've been struggling with PTSD for seven years now. I've tried a number of support methods depending on what seems right and appropriete for me at the time, to include medications, encounter groups, theraphy and EMDR.
I am currently seeing a trauma therapist who uses EMDR and I feel it's working well for me (I've also seen another EMDR therpast a number of years ago). I feel my symptoms (primarily rage) intensified after being stalked this past year.
At this time I have a long-standing depression that seems it will never go away no matter what the hell I do, so I'm trying to move on in spite of it. As we all do, I have good days and bad, but I'm a helluva lot better than I have been.
