Harry Potter Fans

Everyone who knows me knows I love Harry Potter. I've seen the movies a million times. I recently started reading the books and I'm afraid I have to admit my love of Harry Potter is getting stronger. I'm on the 5th book. And I'm loving it.

Last night I went to the pottermore website got sorted into a house and picked my wand. I know I'm cheesy. No apologies. I know too that I'm not the only Harry Potter fan. And I figured it would be a lot of fun for us Harry Potter fans to have a thread to talk Hogwarts discuss houses and be nerds. Anyone up for it? I'll tell you what house I got sorted to if you'll tell me which house you got sorted to.

I totally got Ravenclaw! I was thinking it would have been Gryffindor. I was surprised and happy with Ravenclaw though too. I always did like Luna :D. As good as the movies are I'm very happy to see all of the content in the books. It's like watching added scenes.

Not a fan either, but interestingly was the fact that The author named Mt Greylock in Massachusettes the sight of Ilvermorny school of witchcraft and wizardry...... I now live just 1/2 hour away, and grew up within miles of Mt Greylock.

As far as I know she'd been reading up on the 'witch' lore for quite some time, prior to writing these books.

I've had a lot of stress lately and I'm glad I got errands done yesterday. It's allowed me to spend the day reading. I like that I can disappear into the books and forget about stress and life and reality for awhile. I've been listening to someone who hasn't been in a good mood for days. It's been hard at times. Thankfully I've been able to focus long enough to get lost in Hogwarts today.

Yes, much love for the Harry Potter series here! I think I've read several of the books about 10 times. :bookworm:

I took one of those online sorting hat quizzes and apparently I'd be a hufflepuff. Oh well, as long as it's not Slytherin :D
