Yea sure,
the book of five rings I read Miyamoto Mushashi basically roamed around homeless.
Had little attachment etc... I just couldn't see that being too much fun to be honest.
Some land with a homestead or w/e is much more appealing.

Did it. Three times. First time was in a temperate climate. Sucked balls. Second two times were in San Diego. LOVED IT. Surfing, Pot, a ten hours a week in a pizza shop and a VW bug to live in. Life was good.

Been homeless a few times before the VA stepped in to help. I gotta say it sucked! I may be isolating in my apt, but at least I'm not having run ins with cops telling me where I can and can not sleep and me getting pissed off trying to start a fight with a cop..

Been there and done that numerous times. it only matters if you have an honest purpose. it only works if you have a base camp to return to. Do what you will. Personally, A soldier never gives up, nor does a soldier go on a mission without a mission op....

Yeah. Best Place in the World is Death Valley California in the spring. Skip the National Park in the north and use the BLM areas to the south. You can spend weeks alone in comfortable weather surronded by lots of wild flowers and critters. Spent a few months there years ago only ever saw two other people and one airplane. came back looking and smelling my finest. Is water readily available that time of year, and plenty of food if you know how to find it.

Go out. Spend time alone. Recharge, then go back to the shithole of civilization better prepared to deal with the mouth breathers.

I have wondered about it but I'm with a lot of the other people that have posted. I would want to make sure it was some place with decent weather all year round and doesn't get so cold that you have to worry about frost bite and freezing to death. Also the whole having a base camp/something familiar/something safe to go to. I think having a decent amount of land that I can go to for a week at a time or weeks at a time would be best. If I was able to just leave everything behind.
