They've learned that it starts losing efficacy after 3 years, and becomes pretty useless after 5. That being said - for me, it was certainly helpful for a while.

Oh, that's a pretty long time. Might be worth the try. I'm still thinking about it. Will probably wait till next week to contact my neurologist.

Yes. I've done the test. Very helpful. It made my past medication trial and errors make a lot of sense and helped my doc narrow down more likely options of meds that would work well for me. It's been a good tool when we have needed to change things around. I wish I had done it sooner.
