Has Anyone Tried Champix/ Chantix To Quit Smoking?

Hi, I took champix about 7 years ago and haven/t smoked since.
I smoked 50 a day as well as weed so for me it was a wonderdrug.

My gp was very cautious of giving it to me because of the side effects but then agreed to give it to me at half the regular dose.

This worked for me.

Dear @CrazyHorse -the book- you were so right. :) Wow. :tup: :tup: Thank you soooo much. I recommend every smoker read it (even if you don't want to quit, or don't want to quit right now). Thank you Dear @CrazyHorse . :hug: :hug: :hug:

As an aside, it said in it childhood and early adolescence are the worst/ most frightening times. Helps with the ptsd (mine). And that smokers don't feel they have the 'right' to exist. And some other amazing things. Twice I got teared up and I don't normally cry. So it's therapeutic too, lol.

My sincere gratitude to all. :notworthy: :hug:

Yay Junebug! You read it! I am overjoyed :laugh::hug:.

It really is brilliant. Allen Carr is a genius in my eyes. I am so glad you gave it a go. It is extremely difficult to get smokers to read it. I guess it does sounds a bit silly that a book can cure your nicotine addiction, but it really and truely can! :-)

So, so happy for you!:tup::hug:
