And now I must start getting ready.... whoo hoo! Found an awesome place for tonights dinner... a steak and seafood restaurant, though has lots of variations without steak or seafood, so all are covered, and has a high recommendation in the good food guide for quality and value.

Excited already....

Just some odd info on Wombats....

"Strangely, it tends to be the second class of animals (the Odd) that are more dangerous. The creature that kills the most people each year is the common Wombat. It is nearly as ridiculous as its name, and spends its life digging holes in the ground, in which it hides." Douglas Adams

Most backpackers don't consider their Australian holiday to be complete unless they've seen a Kangaroo and a Koala. But there is one Australian creature that is just as peculiar as its celebrated compatriots, yet is often forgotten from the list of "must see" Australians animals. The humble Wombat is one of the strongest burrowing animals in the world. They can out dig a man with a shovel; they can dig in the hardest of soil, and about the only things that stop them are solid rock or loose sand.

There was an item on BBC Breakfast this morning about a white wombat. So cute, bless.

'He was found thirsty, tired and close to death by sheep shearers working on nearby property.
But the rare white wombat was taken in by a wildlife volunteer in south Australia, and nursed back to health.
Now the Southern hairy-nosed wombat, who's called Polar, is on the mend.
Wildlife experts say they will now use Polar to help educate people about wombats, and in a couple of years he will be placed him in a breeding programme to produce more animals like him.
Southern hairy-nosed wombats can grow up to 100 cm (40 inches) and when fully developed they can weigh between 18 to 32 kg (40 to 68 pounds).'

Meet 'Nellie' the Koala and 'Russel' the Wombat.......

They are both adorable.
