OP I hope you keep posting. I think if you continue as part of the community you'll see that people do indeed get triggered and sometimes react strongly. I know I've done it more than once. And, unfortunately it just goes with the territory. The flip side is that when people do react strongly to us and we do not agree, we have the opportunity to use our own self management skills where we can objectively realize that someone is triggered/upset------and not let it affect us because it's more about them than it is about us. I'm getting better at doing this myself------and there is always the "ignore" function that you can use if you find that you just don't mesh well with someone and rather not see their posts.
