@Changeling There is a wonderful movie called "the story of the crying camel" and it just popped into my mind reading your post. It is a very sad and moving story, and the baby camel cried in that movie. It seems animals understand though, as one of my rabbits dedicated himself to lick away my streaming tears the other day. I only presented my face at rabbit level allowing him to approach me or not and it seemed very natural.

I agree in that I can also not control the crying. Release valve yes, and I think there is a bunch of chemicals involved as something happens, changes during or after crying.

I almost cried on Monday, but I forgot about this thread and so I did not come here to share. I had unshed tears, because life just seems so hard these days with this Sciatic Nerve pain. It makes sitting so hard. I went to my lawyers today to sign some papers. They were really nice and all about my needing to stand instead of sit for most of the time I was there. I felt a bit embarrassed as I paced back and forth waiting for the bes to come and pick me up after my appointment, but I will get used to this. Life must go on and if I need to stand instead of sit, folks will just have to accept it!

I often feel I need to cry but at the moment, I can't seem to get it out. I cried loads when I began realising my mother was abusive about twelve years ago, it seemed I'd never be able to stop...

@SheilaKathy :hug:

Well, I guess if we are really intent on looking on the bright side of life, you do have an excuse to always stand now, which is sorta a bit healthier than sitting and results in less muscle athrophy
