Oh, I'm not bothered by the nosiness, either. Truth is, I'm still trying to understand, also. I never really had any specific event that could be labeled as "traumatic," but I do have a majority of the classic symptoms. I often do have "flashbacks," during which I forget that I'm not at work, or at least not in my supervisor's office getting yelled at yet again. I have had several nightmares about him, the most recent being two nights ago. I am jumpy, often feeling that there is someone just around the corner ready to attack me, even when I'm at home in a perfectly safe environment.
As far as your other questions, yes I'm back at work and yes I am starting to have the same triggers as before. I had been on the road to recovery and am now in the same old situation and am fighting hard to get out of it as soon as possible. I'll be meeting tomorrow evening with my psychiatrist to get another letter sent to my workers' comp unit putting me on work restriction again. Thing is, my asst. director seemed to say before that he wouldn't honor such a work restriction. If he tries to pull that one off, I have every intention of getting my attorney involved.
I have a very good therapist, though, who has been helping me learn to cope with stress better. In a way, as much damage as I've had done to my health as a result of the way he has treated me, I am learning to stand up for myself to make sure I never get put in this sort of a situation ever again.
