Hiya everyone,

An online friend directed me here. I'm waiting for a psychologist appointment for Asperger's and I'm trying to understand whether I have PTSD as well.

Welcome to the forum. Your psychologist should be able to evaluate you for PTSD also. It is so important to get a professional diagnosis to really be sure, and then the proper course of treatment can be undertaken.

I hope your appointment is soon, so you're not left waiting not knowing something you need to know for your own peace of mind.

Welcome to the forum, and it's a good place to be for a ton of reasons. If you haven't been diagnosed, perhaps some of the articles here will give you some direction as to where to go and how to figure all this out with the professionals. I'm sure it will be help your peace of mind even further to know one way or the other.
