I am also very sensitive about animal abuse from experiences I have had, none like yours (a child should NEVER have to go through that, I am so sorry!). I have not seen any of the posts you are referring to but I know those would trigger me as well. I have read through a lot of posts and not seen any of this.
So sorry you had to read such horrible posts. The things that some people do to animals is sickening.
