My name is Alex and I am from the UK. I came across this forum in the wonderful world of twitter and was instantly consumed by its impact for members and member's impact on me with regards to strength and honesty. This is the first time I have joined a forum. I have been working in the field of domestic abuse for the last 7 years and for the last year, have been working in the area of sexual abuse; I feel very privileged to be part of survivor's journeys.

I am looking forward to becoming involved more.
