Hello I'm New Here

Hello I'm new here and was recently diagnosed with ptsd and am starting to realize that it is what I have and trying to stop denying that I could have it. Anyhow I am a mom of 3 and am 33 years old and hope this is a place that I can open up about the things I experience and try to start living again.

It can be hard accepting a diagnosis but accepting it is part of the journey in getting help and deal with things. I hope you find the support and information to help you come to terms with your PTSD. Remember it's just a diagnosis don't forget the person behind the diagnosis.

I am pleased you found us. Well done on your first post, it is always hard to make a start. Take your time looking around and post as and when you feel able.

I have learned a lot by reading the experiences of others and I hope that my ramblings have helped others in the same way. It is great to read something and to think, wow, I so understand that or I am not on my own. It is wonderful to share and learn from one another.
