Dale

New Here
Hi my name is dale. I am 40 years old, and I am in a monotanous relationship with my wife. I feel like I walk on eggshells all the time around her. My ex-wife did have ptsd, and i feel like my new wife might also have it as well, just not as bad. She gets depressed a lot, talks about suicide, has attempted suicide, gets agitated and stressed easily over little things. thinks the worst of people. basicly she can find the ugly in the most beautifull thing, she has a very negative outlook on anything. I love her, I want to help her, it is very hard to be in this relationship, but I am all she has, her family has really done a lot of bad things to her.

She was raped about 15 years ago, and the guy goes unpunished because I dont know who he is. I cant split up with her, if I do then she would be homeless, because she wont take care of herself, she gives up so easily. I want to get help for her, but right now we cant afford it. I am the only one working, and she is semi-looking for a job. She wont look unless I give her a push to get up and go, she has trouble holding a job for very long. I tried to get her to come to this website that I found and find some people to talk to because I suspect that she does have ptsd, and she might be able to find help or atleast talk to others who are experiencing what she is experiencing. I hope she will eventually come here. I wont push her, I will just tell her how much fun it is and tell her about friends im making, maybe it will get her curiosity up.

Welcome Dale, you sound like you have a HUGE heart she should join this site it's a great community to share honestly in.
