Hoping For Good
New Here
My husband and I have been together for about 3.5 years now. I've kind of had an idea about his PTSD shortly after I met him. I love him dearly, so it's not like it would affect the way I see him.
He was just officially diagnosed with PTSD about a month ago and since, he seems to be spending less time with me. He just sleeps, watches tv, cleans his guns and talks in a flirtatious manner with other women.
I understand that drawing away from me is is common in PTSD sufferers, but is it normal for him to stray away from me into the likes of other women? It is so painful to watch and it almost seems as if he doesn't care anymore. I have a feeling marriage counseling is in the future if he keeps doing this to me, I love him I don't want to lose him because of PTSD. But is this actually that common?
