My name is Kelli. I do not suffer from PTSD but my husband does. It is very difficult at times to be around him. I love him very much and I hope that reading others insights will help me and him in our daily lifes and hope to gain some information that helps me better understand.

Hi Kelli

Welcome to the forum.

Come down to the supporters area, where you will find loads of helpful information. Start by reading some of the sticky notes at the tops of the different section, then go from there.

It can and does get easier as time goes by, but it takes a lot of hard work on their part, and a lot of patience and understanding on your part. Even though it is your husband who is the sufferer, it does effect you in a big way too, so dont let anyone tell you it doesn't. If you educate yourself though, you can get through the tough times together. Constantly learning as you both travel this crazy path of PTSD.

Remember to take good care of yourself, it is important.
