Undiagnosed Hey

Hey. My name's Ron and I'm from Oregon.

My therapist (unfortunately she's a counselor- can't really diagnose me with anything or provide medication) believes I may have PTSD stemming from sexual assault (it's now been a little over a year since it happened) and other incidents that all happened within a few months of each other. I don't really know what to think about. It makes sense but at the same time I am a little hesitant to personally label myself. Still, I thought I'd join and gain some perspective.

I'm (almost) 21 and work as a freelance copywriter. Glad to be here.

I treat the term PTSD as descriptive. This is easy since I don't have legal, financial, disability or relatonship issues that can turn it into a lable. You will find that most people on this forum avoid lables.
