I'm not really ready to tell my story yet. I hope my title will suffice for now. I'd say I'm here to recover, but at the moment its more accurate to say I'm here to learn how to cope. One thing at a time, you know?

In the meantime, many of us are out there "coping" together.

Your title more than indicates how much you're struggling. Tell your story when you're ready, not when you feel you have to. This site won't be going anywhere and we're here to listen when you feel ready to talk, about anything. :-)

One thing at a time is a good approach. There's nothing more suffocating than trying to process and deal with everything at once (which is, unfortunately, where I'm at right now). Just take your time. You'll know when you feel ready to talk and it'll be easier to cope with once you do feel ready.

Welcome Atlanticblue. I joined not too long ago and the people here are amazing. I come and go on the forum as I feel up to it. Sometimes I am too overwhelmed to even be here (that may sound strange), but everyone is really supportive when I do join in or need a hug.

You are in a safe and supportive place here. The beauty is that you can go at your own pace. I have found reading other threads has been really helpful.

I carried grief for a long time over my sisters deaths. For me the problem wasn't that they died it was that I survived. Hopefully you are able to find some peace.
