Hi, I'm both a sufferer and supporter of PTSD.
I have been raped, forced into prostitution, husband murdered, kicked and hit while pregnant, daughter almost died, TBI from fall from horse, I'm in severe pain 24/7, Vietnam husband with Combat PTSD who constantly abuses me, and I also have been diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder.
I don't seem to be able to do anything right in my home. I'm walking on eggshells. I'm dealing with my husbands "stuff" as well as my own.
We're both disabled and home all the time. I don't drive because of meds so I'm stuck and I need some time off! I stay in my room as much as possible because if I'm around him, he tells me I did another thing wrong and I can't take it anymore. I'm suppose to support, help, and understand him but there's no-one supporting or even caring about me.
Why do veterans get all the help when their families are hurt by war too!
