Hi all, so excited after a year of working as a contractor, i was hited full time. its not the same position but i am sure i can do the job. Just a little nervous, I love the team I worked with they are amazing, fun and supportive under stress. Not sure the other team will be the same. i also found out they are reorganizing and my old team is being blown apart, people are going to lose there jobs, so its sad. It took alot for me to be approved for this new job, they dont accept anyone who doesnt have a 4 yr degree. But a bunch of Directors and VPs went to bat for me. i left school at 16 and got my GED and have worked my way up the latter. i still struggle with i am less than everyone because of the degree. My PTSD symptoms increase when i am insecure and change is happening. But i am working hard to make sure that they dont overwhelm me. I know its possible to move forward but i need to make sure i dont start to slide and become overwhelmed. Ideas for keeping it all together would be helpful. Thanks.

Maybe get advisement from your employer about recommended course info for continuing education? Even if it's online courses it would send a signal that you are aware and wanting to bring yourself up to the requisite competency level as part of a longer range plan?

Big congratulations to you!
