Holy Cow Do I Need To Vent!!!!!!!

I am attempting to apply for health insurance online with the same company that I currently have Cobra coverage with. They have full and easy access to my medical records. I understand they want you to answer as many questions as possible to save them the work of sifting through 10 years of medical records but COME ON! Do they really need to know the exact dates of each time I have had a sinus infection in the last 10 years?!?!?!?! How in the heck am I supposed to remember that???? OMG I am ready to SCREAM!!!!

Can you make the application over the phone or do you have to do it online? I typically prefer to do as much online as possible, but recently applied for new health insurance for my daughter and after shopping around online to find the policy I wanted, found it much easier to call and talk to a live person to actually complete the application.

Ugh, that sounds like the suck, supergirl. I have been dealing with health insurance more recently than ever before, and it just enrages me. Everything is about making less work for the health insurance company, even if it means I spend hours on the phone getting the doctor's offices and the insurance company to send each other the correct paperwork. So frustrating!

I'm glad you got some retail therapy, though!
