I'm just back from a couple of days away, sorry you've had to go back to the hospital but glad you did. Hoping the antibiotics get to work soon and your temperature's cooling down and this is just a blip in your recovery.

Thinking ahead and looking forward to the day you can tell us you and Margaret have been dancing in the moonlight (yeah, I'm a big Van Morrison fan).

I think the fever has gone. Been hammered with Gentamicin, and other antibiotics. You could call me pure now..lmao.

Hate the hospital though. Hopefully will be out this arvo they said. For the rest of you guys who are behind time, lol, it will be the evening for you. At least Australia is leading the way in some things, even if it is only Time.

Finally they have admitted I have a staphylococcal infection. It was picked up two weeks ago on a swab, but as it is a normal skin disease, they thought nothing of it, but it had gotten inside my surgery wound.

The fever and chills have gone. I am still swollen up like I am about 3 months. It will go down though.
Lots of bed rest, TLC, and another course of antibiotics. I wish I was still in that really comfy hospital bed, NOT.

There are heaps of posts, too many to get through. Will be on in a couple of days.
