LOL I just did the test, and would you believe it, I am the tree and hubby is the vine. Spot on with the "getting fed up of the clinging vine".
A while ago I was looking at what the meaning of some plants and tree's growing together meant. We have a Holly Tree at the bottom of our garden, underneath it is an Ivy.
The 2 definition's I was given for these were, I am the Holly Tree, with the Ivy growing underneath for support. As long as the Ivy has room to grow, and not being suffocated by anything else it will be fine. The other was that being the Holly Tree, I am the one who makes most of the decisions in our home. Plus having the strength to support the weakness of the Ivy.
Funny thing is if I had done this 15 years or more ago, I would have said I was the Vine.
