Medical How Do I Deal With Abusive Doc System?

Guys how do I deal with doctors given they've been in many ways long-term abusers, to size of country I don't have many choice options about them, need health care & can't explain a lot of injuries? (As in I know perfectly well how & where & when I got them but can't disclose it to those people.)

(Also: out of country treatment currently isn't an option / financial reasons.)

What I've been so far tossed at has been a lot of appearance based discrimination and the classical tropes of 'can't even possibly know what that is, because dumbass.'

I'm at loss here and want to ask it before being too done to ask for assistance sinks in.
Also gaslight screws with me because reality confusion sinks teeth in way fast and I'm rather quick not trusting my head out of fear wrong choices / understanding of situations will lead to people killed.

Remember you are in control now. You come freely. And as free as you stepped in, you can leave again. No one has power over you, so don't let the fear fool you.

Imagine them like me - a few years ago, they used to be worried sick about not succeeding at school... It didn't change with the MDr. They are just human. Weak, fragile, normal human - no villains with superpowers.

The health care system is shifting towards the client-like point of view. It's not that different from going to a public library and asking for help with so me books, if you look at them from that point of view...

Hope it helps a bit... This kind of thinking works for me. Distinguishing now and then. I wish you good luck.

remember that you're the boss and you can fire the f*ckers as you please.

helps to know your stuff; docs complain all the time about patients with internet connections but that's just because they got lazy with the continuing education.

So, unless you get lucky, there's a limit to what one of these doctors can do, because they aren't good at their job? I'm going that there's a chance there might actually be a good doctor around, if you can find him/her.

One way to maximize the odds of finding a good doctor is to ask a nurse. Seriously, they know. Ask someone in a related profession what doctor THEY go to.

I have a situation where I live where it's hard to find a veterinarian who knows more about horses than I do. (This really shouldn't be that hard!) As much as possible, I handle that by finding one who's kind of lazy and will just sell me the drugs I need without bothering to get involved. Maybe, in some countries, that would work with human doctors too?

It's a good idea

I did with one. She gave me a name of a hospital to ask around at. They told me they're requiring a lot of referrals and reports that I just don't have. Probably should try reasking about that, reading medical portals & news wasn't much more informative as if they're even legally allowed to do that. A lot of bureaucracy that's super shady & using very loosely defined laws as a shield of why it's 'necessary'.

In every case, thank you for that idea Scoutie, I'll think on it more.
