If I still had a partner I'd fight tooth and nail to remain together.
Now single for over 14 years I understand, it's not gonna happen anymore.
My own choice cos I find it just too hard to explain, to work around my little hang ups.

Also many men are intimidated by a female vet and start a pissing match to show they are macho-er than me.
The novelty wore off quickly.

A lot of so called men, are nothing more than little boys thinking thay are real men. Real men are not into the macho pissing match BS with a woman.....thay don't have to be!!! Sorry to say, but real men are hard to find. But don't give up, you never know when you will go around a corner and walk into one..... Be ready......:D

Tired of the relationship shite in the past. Hence the staying single.

You nailed that one down and out. Wife was exactly like that, right down to the hour and minute. And seeing as I had to write everything down, there was no way in hell I could tell if she was right or not. However, her very good memory served us both in many ways.

I have been thinking about this. I think the answer is to find an older REAL man (vet) with PTSD!!!! That could be fun in some ways, on some days. I wonder if you 2 could learn to match your Beast cycles???(n) You know on some days you could do the adrenaline rush. Jr maybe onto ssomething here Dutchie, at least you would have something in common, thats really important. Someone you can trust is really important to me, i have that with my wife. She's not a combat vet but she's had to deal with trama, so she kind of gets it. My wife and I are in the same boat, except she has an outboard and i have a paddle..lol..but we help each other.

I know this will sound, well, convoluted. Not all vets are great people, like all they're just people. But, vets do understand vets better than people that aren't simply because they're vets.

I've only dated fellow vets, so maybe you're onto something.

I too feel like civ men are either intimidated by me, which is dumb because I'm probably the least intimidating person ever. But I always feel like I have little in common with them, so the lack of interest seems to be mutual.
