Put that way I'd say Big T Trauma. Though that doesn't make sense. I put disorder but life-complicating-&-destroying-issue or disorder might apply too.

I think it's years to this conclusion but I think biochemically-or physically-induced-neurological-injury is what is going to be found. JMHGuess though.

Other, I'd call it a permanent and crippling disability. Going to the store on the other side of the street (it's like 30 feet away from the door) gives me dissociation for at least a day. If I have to ACTUALLY go out, like to see a friend or go to the psychiatrist I'll start getting it after about 20 minutes of being out and I have to be brought home and after a day or so I'll start having a panic attack that leaves me crippled for a good week or so.

Disorder for me.... I mean, other than it being PTS Disorder... I also see it as disorder for all the chaos it creates in my life. Illnesses or injuries are different...

Injury for me for the same reason Shimmerz shared. I also consider my sleep apnea to be an injury as well because in my own case the root cause is also an injury and my brain does not reliably send the signal to breathe. If I keep that in mind... it makes management and being willing to do what is necessary easier and more consistent.

Apparently voted "injury" some time ago but didn't comment at the time.
