Fresh on my mind this morning is "How do you get busy professional people to answer your phone calls?"
A few of my immediate family members have chronic conditions that require me to interact with dr. offices a lot. In addition, one of my clients requires me to interact with Social Services. In the past it has worked well for me to record their numbers in my cell phone, set an alarm and call them every day until I get the necessary results. I am always very kind to the office staff (not their fault, and I want them to want to help me) even though at times (like today) the thought of causing bodily harm is quite inviting.
As I said, this has worked for me well in the past. Today I am trying this on a new, less than helpful dr (I have tried to switch, but this department has an unwritten rule that nno one else will take you off another doc's docket), and I will be trying it for the first time with social services. If you are a praying person, I appreciate your prayers.
