are you able to talk to your "rational task oriented" self and ask that part to come into the session with you and to move to the front and ask the terrified suspicious part of your self to take a few steps back. Tell the terrified part if you see anything you are uncomfortabe with you can swoop up to front to take over, but try and let the task oriented version of yourself walk into the room as well. Tell you task oriented version of yourself do the talking.

If you can do that, you may try "coloring" together, or playing with play dough- a side by side task . trust is built this way.

or can she meet you outside on a bench outside the building instead of an enclosed room? you may be able to talk better outside.

What tryting to do is really hard, but it can be done.
