Days are long and hard, nights are even harder. I'm seeing the therapist tomorrow, second session, finding it difficult to settle. How do you cope?
 
One of the biggest things for me to relax was to give myself permission to do nothing and not feel guilty about it. With PTSD you are constantly re-traumatized and need to take time heal daily, hourly some time.
 
I struggle, especially at night. Sometimes I watch movies or read, sometimes I call or text friends, and it has really been helpful to post on here and also to reply to others. I have a bad habit of isolating myself when I am not doing well so I am trying to reach out more, which can be hard. I think it's great that you posted.
