I am having a pretty good day today with the girls. The little one wants to go swimming now.

I drove 1000km in two days, so my day was busy.

I had a marathon day out with the girls today and we accomplished everything we set out to do. I feel exhausted but glad that we accomplished so much today. I will relax the rest of the evening and have everyone around here go to sleep early because tomorrow we have to leave at nine am to get the older girls arm recasted at the hospital, three towns away. Not looking forwards to that at all we will probably be at the hospital all day since we are going to the ER.

My day was so emotional. I really went in to the shame - which is not a bad thing - feeling the feelings is important - then you can make course corrections!

I'm going to a strawberry festival in a local town. I'm a bit nervous about being out and about but my husband says this is good for me.

I realized how much I need consistency in my life so I got up and went to the lake to walk around it.

It wasn't too hot yet so am glad that I did it. Just going there is so calming for me. I'm getting some exercise as well as I feel better after the walking and the meditating that I do.

My day has been filled with a lot of mindfulness practice and then some weeping. I feel so guilty for all the reactive emotional responses that I have done to other people during my life.

I would like to share how epic my toddlers are I fill the paddling pool they drag it to our huge slide and make a water slide watching them is filling me with joy

My day has been very challenging at times but all problems and troubles of the day are solved so it has been a very kickback day for me and the girls. We are hanging pictures in the older girls room tonight and they are going to go to bed early because we are going out to breakfast tomorrow morning. I am keeping my promises.

Well I paid the rent and paid a bill and I took my youngest granddaughter out to breakfast. I relaxed for a little while since the little one went back to sleep and then we went out and ran errands and did the food shopping. I still have to take a shower and fix dinner for tonight. I talked to my daughter on the phone briefly and she is in so much pain and my heart goes out to her.

I went out to breakfast for my father in laws birthday with my husband and father in law, of course. I was going to get seed for the birds but the store wasn't open yet. Now I am home vegging.

 

[Let It Be]

Reminder to self: Close the bedroom windows before leaving the house when it has just started raining. I ended up in a parking lot waiting for the heavy rain to stop. When I finally got home, as the streets were flooding, I found a very wet carpet and mattress that had soaked through.

Might have to find another place to sleep tonight while the mattress dries out. At least I closed the patio door, don't want to imagine what I would have found there when I got home.
