My son stayed home from school today. I had to fight the old messages in my head about him staying home and realize he is almost 18. He should know for himself whether that was the right decision or not.

I missed a lot of school when I was his age and younger. Most of the time it was just to avoid going, not that I was really sick. I worry sometimes that that is the way for him. However, I'm trying not to be my mom in how I respond to it. She would berate me and truly that never helped.

Still woke up I the middle of the night, last night, but feeling a bit better today. The weather is real nice this week so made plans for carpet cleaning, window cleaning and car cleaning - did the car exterior today and took a mile walk. I'll begin the task of organizing my bills and figuring a way to make payment tonight, but probably won't get far on it . . .

I went to Walmart for drinks for tonight's football dinner. I did not freak out about how I looked. I also didn't look all disarrayed. Tonight is the dinner. I think(hope) the last one. I will shower later before the dinner and after my nap.

My day is starting out crappy. My boss wants me to do something, supposedly for the benefit of our work team that the team is not interested in doing - having cake every month to celebrate birthdays and he wants me to pick it up. Several team members don't like the attention. Most team members are trying to stay away from sweets/fats and a few are gluten free. Additionally, I'm using my gas, my money, then have to ask to be reimbursed by the other managers who make way more money and have way more time on their hands than me. Errgh!

I refilled my prescription for my anti-inflammatory pills so I will have them when needed. I was kinda surprised when I was told how much they were when I picked them up. I had not remembered paying that much for them back in August so I called them.

Yes, I was told that would be the new price that I would be paying for them. It seems that my insurance carrier will no longer be paying the same rate. Thus, I guess, now I know, and will be more aware of how prices are going up in so many ways by my insurance carrier!

Ocular Migraine. Visual disturbance. Second time this week. I hate having difficulties with my vision and not knowing until it is all over if it is going to bring a full blown migraine.

Today was quite challenging physically and emotionally. For some reason, whenever I have spent hours out with a friend or on my own, the next day's been not good.

For whatever reason things have been blurry today. No headache.

Busy morning, two appointments(one dentist) and, later, my son's football game. Though he won't be playing because he was diagnosed with a grade 2 concussion. I feel some guilt for doubting him. Old messages play havoc in my mind.

This blurriness is disturbing to say the least.

 

[Let It Be]

Couldn't believe it, it started snowing and kept it up all day! They said if it snowed it probably wouldn't accumulate because it had been so warm yesterday but it did. I did go out in it as I needed to do some errands. I, at least, had my snow scraper inside the car as I had to use it while I was out. Tomorrow all this white stuff will probably be gone, but what a sign of what the winter will be like!

Not ready for snow here. lol

Today, though I do not like the idea of leaving the comfort of my home, I will mow the lawn for the last time this season and clean up the leaves. I really do not understand why even going into my yard is hard. Makes me crazy with just the thought of it, yet going out of my house brings me anxiety.
