The day is beautiful but the depression is stronger. I did get dinner made for later. That's a positive. I also fed the dogs instead of waiting for my husband to do it. That's also a positive. I have to quit hiding.
So far today I got up, brushed my teeth, had a shower, put a load of washing on because my clothes that I walk in get very sweaty, decided to hold back from the two Papa Bears and let them entertain each other. I did the morning yoga nidra. I made the bed. I drank a cup of tea.
It was an interesting day at the police academy (it's really called this way...I'm always reminded of the movies...:dead:).
A prosecutor with whom I work together a lot held a really interesting presentation. I only knew her from calling, but today we've met in real for the first time. She also remembered my name at once.
Then I was shocked by a Mini car in bubblegum rose...:wacky:
So far today my day has been okay. I did a short drive. B and I cleaned up the kitchen and I planned roast beef sandwiches for lunch and I put the chicken legs in to marinate for the Apricot chicken for dinner tonight. I did my yoga nidra and then 10 minutes of mindfulness meditation.
B and I planted 7 passionfruit plants and that was good.
I will repot the strawberries and tomatoes and work out a position for them. I have a good supply of marigolds for companion planting and warding off the insects.
My day was...surprising. Some guy from the contact ads was only writing about himself and never asking any questions about me. It got hard to respond to his messages. I didn't know what to do but in the end I wrote him that it's really hard for me to keep a conversation going when he's only refering to himself. ...and he answered, he apologized. I'm really surprised. :wideeyed:
I got up this morning walked three kilometres and then did sort of 20 laps - half walking - half paddling. My right arm is still busted up. I got out of the house straight away and did exercise.
It is interesting that Papa Bear has been doing more riding on his exercise bike and walked around the outside of the house with the respite woman who came today. The respite carers are worth their weight in GOLD! So me being active and explaining to him what I was doing has had a flow on effect that I did not expect.
