Now that I think of it, I am proud!

It helped that my mom was right beside me validating everything I said. She knew what my dad did to me. She was hit too, sent to the hospital even. I’m not mad at her though (for not stepping in when I was a kid....she didn’t see most of it).

Kind of irked that my community support person gave me a canned “your dad cares about you in his own way” response. Yeah, kind of in the same way that a drunk driver cares about the people he hits. NOT AT ALL!

@Lost Marbles...so sorry this turned about to be a mis-take for you...I open-handed slapped my bio-father in the face in the a.m. years ago because he was drunk...again...and although...it may not have "went" well...I do NOT regret this action...one little bit! I also did not attend his funeral. Instead...I signed my self into the psyche ward. Hmmm...
