It happens all this time this time of year, even though i tell myself this year will be different, happens again and again and again. He won. It is hard to go through this "anniversary". Don'thave energy left sometimes

Sorry you feel that way, though it is understandable. Anniversaries are hard, but he did not win. You are winning every day you keep telling yourself you will. You are winning every time you write out how you are feeling and try to work through it. You are winning because you are reaching out and not letting him win.

I wish you strength to keep going and belief in your strength and courage. You do have those you know, if you didn't you wouldn't be here reaching out and sharing. Best Wishes!

I always find the fall and spring really tough and I'm sensitive to the seasonal effects. Not to suggest this is the case, just sharing it's a tough time of the year for me without significant anniversaries. Sometimes it feels like I have to give 150% to get 10% back and it's tiring, but I keep grinding away. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, you are a real winner as mentioned above in doing so.
