I Found A New Grounding Technique

This was never enough for me. Not even close. I needed a real jolt and even that, many times didn't...
My therapist agrees. She told me to find a smell I really like. Really. Really. Like. I've only found one that I like that much and it only works on small issues.
 
When I was driving up to the snowy north from CA last year, I went into a three day trance state. I was a disaster. When I could speak, I asked the SO to stop at a candle store so I could pick up a lilac scented candle. The scent in those things are horrible for you, so toxic.... so when I settled in and was well again I decided to invest in essential oils. I can build scents by mixing them. It keeps my body moving, allows me to carry my own scent with me - and full potency man are they strong!

It has been really helpful. I just have to be careful not to use a scent I associate with 'bad'. The minute I turn off a scent it gets pitched and I don't use it again.
