I'm suffering from chronic tension headaches. It is worth living?? I'm having thoughts of killing myself.

If your headaches are that bad? What medical treatments have you tried?

I take topamax, in part because it means less migraines. I am lucky in that it has a positive effect on my mood as well, but results may vary.

Don't give up! Call a hotline if you need to, but don't give up.

Go drink quart of water. Then sit down somewhere safe and quiet, and breathe: ten times deeply, then ten times again.

What are your other symptoms? What does your therapist, if you have one, say?

Topamax is originally an anti-seizure med, BUT it prevents severe headaches. It may also help mood in some people.

You need to go to a doctor about your headaches and about your thoughts of suicide.
