And, @Kas_Can_Fly, sorry you had a sucky experience, too. Argh. Eventually, they had me pee in a cup so they could do a pee test and was like, seriously, couldn't we have just done this in the first place?!

And @nursenurse, all of my nurses were ace (and as I mentioned above I was so pleased when my main one asked about my PTSD triggers, it really made me feel comfortable and not like a freakshow!), I can't imagine the strength it must take to do such a difficult job! Well done you!

You have a lot of courage @bell , I can't imagine saying anything other than "I'm fine!!!!!!!!" and unhooking my I.V. bag and trying not to crawl out the window and out the roof. (Yes I actually did somethng similar once). :rolleyes:

@Britt.f7, thanks for your kind words! I went to work for the first time in a week today, and although I'm still sore, I'm feeling pretty good and ready to get back to something kinda like "normal!"

Yes @bell , and we can really run fast in bare feet on cold floors, surely higly motivated! :laugh:

So glad you are feeling a little better, an apendectomy is critical when required, very dangerous if it bursts and life-saving to have found it.
