Maybe finally organising a meeting in Birmingham. Maybe the second or 3rd week in August?

My daughter was with me and the meeting took place in a very public place, so it was a safe risk. It is something I would do again, both with Amethist (if she isn't running for the hills :p) .

The way we met was good. I was already at our meeting place, and KP could see me before I saw her. If she had any second thoughts after seeing me from a distance. She could have quite easily sent me a text, making her excuses any way she chose to do.

Glad she chose to break the ice with a joke though, instead of running to the hills herself. :D

I wish you could all see the huge grin on my face from reading all of your comments. I feel so supported and cared for and yes I still feel so proud I did it. I still cannot believe it.
