I can keep the majority of my short fuse under some modicum of control, except when I am absolutely exhausted, combined with abject frustration at myself and my PTSD, and frustration at the universe for allowing this to happen (shades of me being self-centred, I know!). At times like that I have no fuse at all for stupidity.
I sometimes believe that I have some kind of quota for stupidity for the week, and when that quota is reached, the cannons start to fly.
