I'm sorry but I know there is nothing you can physically do to make those things happen you're right...
No talking about it is good. Holding it in is destructive. But at the same time if you aren't willing to do anything about what's going on in your life there's not alot we can do for you here but listen.

I'm not willing to do anything about what's going on in my life? Huh? Thats 100% untrue. I don't even know where you came to that conclusion?

I physically do EVERYTHING I can to make my life better. I worked up the nerve to sit down with my boss and ask for a promotion. I search for new work I spend hours researching my illness had surgeries spent thousands of dollars try to join support groups about it... where are you getting that I don't try anything to help my situation from? Why do you say things like that? Why do people say things like that?

there are countless threads on this forum from people venting and asking for help and support yet you're telling me that the only thing I need to be trying to do is get into therapy. If that were the solution to everything there would be no forum. I am here because I am here. I don't understand why I'm still replying to this post lol. I'm pretty much done. Thanks for your input.

From people with PTSD, or suspected PTSD. This is not a general 'support' board.

No. Therapy is a necessary part of 'trying everything', and @missy meier has been working really hard to help you understand that. Because sometimes? life throws a million shit-balls all at once. And therapy is where you learn how to handle it. Does it erase the shitballs? No....but the process usually radically changes how you relate to them. And shows you how to relate to other things better.

You said it yourself. You've tried everything you know how to do. It's time to try something you don't know how to do - and that's gonna happen in therapy.
I'm pretty much done. Thanks for your input.
Me too. I wish you well, and hope you get the help you need.
