Welcome to the forum, I'm glad you found us but sorry you have to be here as it means you too are dealing with trauma. You are very brave to be in a foreign country and dealing with PTSD, I couldn't imagine that. :eek:
I had doctors running all sorts of tests trying to figure out why I was Always tired, it's been over the span of 20 yrs or so. I never knew PTSD had that effect on a Person until I was diagnosed about 18 months ago. Now SO MANY THINGS MAKE SENSE. :(:tdown::rolleyes:
I just finished therapy and am doing well, but I also attribute this place to my "healing or remission" as my T calls it. As we never get healed from PTSD, but we can go into a type of remission. Having people to talk to who understand EXACTLY what we are dealing with, who don't judge, who want to help, who are caring and understanding is so beneficial to getting this "Monster" under control.
